How
can I find out if dancing Light is available to play at my venue?
If you have a
specific date in mind, check the show schedule above. The show
schedule will also give you a pretty good idea of which neck of the
woods they're in.
Tell
us who you are, what
the event is, and where and when you are
interested in having dancing Light perform.
What are dancing
Light's
sound and lighting requirements?
dancing Light plays a
variety of venues from very simple house concerts to large performing
arts centers and festival stages. In their simplest form Greg plays
guitar and sings and Kiki sings and plays light percussion.
In
larger venues, Kiki and Greg often expand dancing Light to include
other players and instruments. In larger venues, Kiki & Greg enjoy
meeting personally with the lighting director and have specific
requirements with respect to sound.
Let them know what type of
venue they'll be playing in and the expected size of the audience and
they'll collaborate with you to help your audience have an exceptional
experience.
What type of show
does dancing Light offer?
Greg and Kiki are performing songwriters. They
play original music with an occasional cover tune in the mix.
Their strengths are making a strong connection with an audience and
helping to facilitate a magical experience for everyone in the room.
Kiki and Greg are both powerful and captivating singers and
storytellers. Their vocal blend is remarkable and their
songwriting is visual and poetic.
Greg and Kiki share a vision for a happier, healthier, more
joyful life experience and share that vision through the vehicle
of their performance.
FUN VIDEOS

The Rehearsal
The first is a fun little video called, The Rehearsal. It's exactly
that. Kiki and Greg were rehearsing out in their front yard.
When A Guitar String
Breaks
This was taped at a concert on October 4th, 2008 at Itasca State Park
in northern Minnesota. Greg's guitar string broke in concert
(where's the guitar tech?) and Kiki did her best to cover for him by
singing How Can I Keep From Singing
accapella. When Greg accidentally hit a note while changing his
string the song went south.
